CESVA Noise Risk Management Software

Hearing Protection Solution

CESVA Noise Risk Manager (NRM) is software designed by CESVA for a complete hearing protection solution. The software enables the assessment of risks arising from workers’ exposure to noise in a simple, efficient & intuitive way.
CRM is a response to the current legal requirements with relation to occupational hazards, and it has been designed to facilitate and simplify the assessment following the steps described in the regulation ISO 9612.

With this in mind, this latest CESVA software is structured in 5 steps:

1    DEFINE THE COMPANY’S STRUCTURE

How many workers are there? Which strategy is associated with each worker? Are there any Homogeneous Exposure Groups? The answers to these questions will enable the workplace structure of the company to be created from a noise perspective. The structure is set the first time and is then saved in the project. It can subsequently be extended or modified. Having the structure of the company and the measurement strategies (Tasks, Job or Working Day) defined simplifies the planning of the measurements and the process of assessment.

2    INPUT THE MEASUREMENT DATA

After noise measurements have been carried out they are incorporated into the project, assigned to the corresponding worker. When SEM* type files are imported they can be edited, eliminating sections which represent false increases in the measurement, such as: knocks to the microphone, wind, etc.

Measurements carried out with other makes of equipment can also be introduced manually.

3    ASSESS WORKERS AND WORK STATIONS

NRM calculates the following results:

  • Noise levels with and without PPE: LAeq,d (LEX8h) and LCpeak
  • Uncertainties

NRM has filters that enable measurements of the project to be selected and assessed according to the regulation or decree chosen. The hearing protectors and duration of use can also be introduced.

CESVA Noise Risk Manager enables the assessment to be saved, creating a history of assessments carried out.

4    OBTAIN THE NOISE EXPOSURE REPORT

Is the application required to automatically create the regulatory report? Simply select the language and assessment
