The radar gun may be used to input vehicle speed (road or rail, or other moving objects) into a multi=channel SINUS Soundbook or a laptop and the multi-channel SINUS Apollo boxes when speed is a parameter that will be beneficial to monitor in conjunction with noise or vibration levels. Typical applications could include motor vehicle speed, or train speed past a particular monitoring station.
A GPS may be connected to the SINUS data acquisition devices (multi-channel SINUS Soundbook or a laptop and the multi-channel SINUS Apollo boxes) to provide positional data that is synchronised with noise or vibration monitoring data.
