Ground Vibration Investigation
Multi-Channel Measurement System + Velocity Geophone or Acceleration Sensor + Software
Field investigation or short-duration monitoring of ground vibration levels may be conducted using any of the portable multi-channel measurement instruments by SINUS Messtechnik GmbH, including the Soundbook, VibPAD, Apollo or Apollo Lite Boxes, ground vibration sensors, and SAMURAI software options.
Measurement system options include:
- SoundBook – 2, 4 or 8 channels (standalone)
- Expander (plus Soundbook or Laptop) – 8 input channels, may be synchronized with up to 5 additional expanders to form a 48 channel instrument
- NoisePAD (or VibPAD) – ultra-portable with 4 channels (standalone)
- Apollo Box – 2 or 4 channels (with laptop)
- Apollo Lite – 2,4,8 or 16 channels (with laptop)
Software options include:
- SAMURAI base software – Time signal, wav file, FFT,
- SAMURAI Option Building Vibration: measurement according to DIN 4150 and DIN 45669
- Matlab Toolbox (SMT) – requires full licensed version of MATLAB – control data acquisition and analysis from all multi-channel instruments by SINUS Messtechnik GmbH and process in real time with customized commands.
- MEScope
Sensors
- Triaxial seismometer (velocity) sensors: 1-80Hz or 1-315Hz. ICP powered directly from all multi-channel instruments by SINUS Messtechnik GmbH. May be used with SAMURAI option – Building Vibration.
- Horizontal seismometer (velocity) sensor: 1-80Hz or 1-315Hz
- Vertical seismometer (velocity) sensor: 1-80Hz or 1-315Hz
- Triaxial accelerometer, high sensitivity, 500 mV/g, 0.07 Hz to 6000Hz
