The AC100 is a very sophisticated and affordable acoustic camera which is suitable for a wide range of users and applications. The handheld version uses a tablet mounted on the back of the acoustic camera, or the acoustic camera may be mounted on a tripod with a separate laptop or tablet.

The acoustic camera incorporates state-of-the-art MEMS microphones with integrated AD converters and 51.2 kHz sampling rate that are matched with integrated measurement data processing electronics using the latest DSP technology. The complete integration in the array, with only one USB interface for data and power supply, allows for convenient portable use with any Windows PC.

The AC100 is very compact and easy-to-use for both indoor and outdoor applications.  The acoustic camera is suitable for a wide range of applications in research, consultation and production because of its high performance features and low cost.

The acoustic camera can be used with rear handles or mounted on a tripod.

The acoustic camera is supplied bundled with the BeamformX application software from OptiNav, or as hardware + Windows driver(API) for customised research or development.

BeamformX software

BeamformX software uses an advanced new evaluation algorithm, the Robust Functional Beamforming(RFB). Compared to conventional beamforming methods, RFB works faster, has a higher dynamic range and can resolve more details spatially and temporally. RFB has been developed by Robert P. Dougherty of OptiNav Inc, USA.

Stored acoustic camera recorded data can be easily post-processed after conducting the measurements to optimise the visual and acoustic results and images. The recorded measurement data can be post-processed using BeamformX software which can be installed on any computer without additional licensing costs.
