Ground Vibration Measurement System
Description
Ground Vibration Measurement System
Multi-Channel Data Acquisition + Software + Geophone or Accelerometer
Field investigation or short-duration monitoring of ground vibration levels may be conducted using geophones or accelerometers connected to any of the portable multi-channel measurement instrument by SINUS Messtechnik GmbH, including the Soundbook, NoisePAD, Expander/Apollo/Apollo Lite Boxes (plus laptop) and SAMURAI software, including options.
Measurement system options include:
- SoundBook – 2, 4 or 8 channels (standalone)
- Expander (plus Soundbook or Laptop) – 8 input channels, but may be synchronized with up to 5 additional expanders to form a 48 channel instrument
- NoisePAD – ultra-portable tablet with 4 channels (standalone)
- Apollo Box – 2 or 4 channels (plus laptop)
- Apollo Lite – 2, 4, 8 or 16 channels (plus laptop)
Software includes:
- SAMURAI vibration base software – including time signal, wav file, FFT
- SAMURAI Building Vibration Option: analyses measurements according to DIN 4150 and DIN 45669
OR
- Matlab Toolbox (SMT) – requires full licensed version of MATLAB – enables control of data acquisition and analysis from all multi-channel instruments by SINUS Messtechnik GmbH and can process in real time with customized commands.
OR
- MEScope for advanced analytics and visualisation
Sensors
- Triaxial geophone (velocity) sensors: 1-80Hz or 1-315Hz. ICP powered directly from all multi-channel instruments by SINUS Messtechnik GmbH.
- Horizontal geophone (velocity) sensor: 1-80Hz, or 1-315Hz
- Vertical geophone (velocity) sensor: 1-80Hz, or 1-315Hz
- Triaxial accelerometer, high sensitivity, 500 mV/g, 0.07 Hz to 6000Hz
