Seismic Logger Network
Description
MR3003SB Logger + Master – Slave Network Configuration by SYSCOM Instruments
The Master-Slave network option enables up to 32 x MR3003SB (or MR3003DMS) loggers to be connected together in a single time synchronised ground vibration monitoring network, where one logger is designated as the Master and all other loggers are designated as Slaves that are time synchronised to the Master.
The Master-Slave network option maintains the same technical performance specification for the individual MR3003SB loggers with either internal or external geophones (or accelerometers).
The time synchronisation is achieved via physical cabling connections with all data being uploaded to the SCS Cloud software for analysis and automatic reporting.
One of the benefits of the network of loggers is improved triggering and alarm functions for the site being protected by the network of loggers.
Applications
- Monitoring seismic response over multiple levels or locations of large commercial or residential buildings
- Monitoring seismic response over multiple levels or locations of large hospital facilities
- Monitoring seismic response over multiple locations within large industrial or processing sites, such as LNG plants, petroleum refineries or power stations
